There is so much to do at Veranda Beach year-round. Soak up the sun in the summer while hitting the lake! The resort offers water skiing, kayaking, boogie boarding, even has a marina for you to bring your personal watercraft. Hit the slopes in the winter at nearby mountains or cross country ski on the many trails around the resort. Orchards and wineries are abundant in their surroundings. Within the resort, there is a heated pool, kid’s activities, a fitness center, restaurants and taverns—you’ll never have to leave!

Just a few miles from Canada, you can go north to visit cute villages, wineries and in the winter, ski the resorts. Crossing the border requires a passport or enhanced driver's license. Plus your English or French, ha!

Barefoot Beach Cottage

Shaded by magnificent leafy trees makes sitting on the veranda and shooting the breeze an all-day thing. To start with, the cottage has three bedrooms— one with a king, another with a queen and the third with four bunks which sleeps a total of eight people, but you can have up to 10 with the pullout sofa. There are three bathrooms— check that out, no waiting!

You can camp out in the overstuffed couches in the living room in front of the fireplace or watch TV. Boardgame anyone? Or that pesky cross-word puzzle? Make it special with everyone working on a puzzle.

Next to the living room is the fully-equipped kitchen which is big enough to make those family feasts. Dine at the dining table, the veranda or picnic right out on the beach—why not, it’s steps away! With three bathrooms, there will be no lines! Linens are provided for beachy action and washing off all that sunscreen! Towels soft and snuggly, sheets crisp, and there is a washer & dryer in the unit in case you want to freshen them up!

There are plenty of places to lounge and play in the sand. Just down the beach is the resort boat dock. Bring your vessel, and you can be off flying on the lake any time you want.

The home also features a stunning wrap-around veranda. This enclosed outdoor seating includes lots of lounge chairs to enjoy the clean mountain air, rain or shine. It’s a wonderful spot to spend the afternoon reading.
