About Breakwater’s King Cyrus Condo

King Cyrus Condo is a large and airy condo with views to the dunes. Open the slider and the front facing windows for an amazing ocean cross breeze. Relax on the four poster bed, or make a meal using the toaster and four burner stove. Want to bake fresh cookies for the ultimate combination of relaxing smells? Feel free! Everything you need to bake or cook is right in the kitchenette.

In addition to the four poster bed, there's a private bedroom at the front of the condo. Put a door between you and the kids!

If you'd like to sit out on the back stairs or at one of the communal picnic tables and just listen to the lack of city sounds around you, feel free to pop in a K-cup and let all your stresses just wash away on the nearby waves.

Why the name "King Cyrus Condo"?

In 1922 a schooner (a sailing ship with at least two masts) was returning from Honolulu carrying a load of lumber. The 32-year-old four-masted King Cyrus tried to enter and, pushed onto a sand bar and was not able to be removed. The crew was rescued, but the ship broke apart. Pieces of it are available for viewing at the Westport Maritime Museum.

More About Breakwater’s King Cyrus Condo

Feel free to cook up some crabs in the complex's crab cookers, sit by the fire pits, or dig up clams during the season! There's nothing like fresh seafood cooked on a grill the same day and not far from where it was taken out of the sea.

If you don't want dig yourself, there are places in town where you can get fresh seafood. Or maybe you prefer fishing, so a charter trip is what you'd like. Convenient to Westport, there's so much to enjoy. This unit has enough beds so that there's room for the whole family to fish, or several friends. Have a great time with room to stretch out in King Cyrus Condo.

These units are dog friendly, so feel free to bring Fido down to the coast with you! No more than two dogs, please, with our typical per dog, per night fee. We even supply blankets for Fido. We are dog lovers, too.

About Breakwater Inn Cottages & Condos

This intimate resort has been here for years, the well-kept secret of a select few guests who valued the peaceful, quiet environment and the nostalgic décor.

With nine crafty condos and five homey cottages, you and your family and friends can create the perfect getaway for yourselves. Need a place where you can host a good-sized group? Talk to us. Each cottage or condo can accommodate 2 to 6 people and, if an event space is needed, the Grayland Community Hall is less than a half mile from the property.

Each cottage and condo includes a kitchenette, with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes and utensils, so it's easy to whip up breakfast for the group.

Beds are just right for diving into after a long day at the beach, enjoying a whale watching tour or exploring the shops and restaurants in nearby Westport.

Breakwater is a self-check in property. No manager is onsite, but staff are available by phone for service.
